YuGiOh Trading Card Game is based on the YuGiOh manga created by Kazuki Takahashi. The trading card game arrived in the US in 2002 with the company Upper Deck Entertainment manufacturing the cards under Konami's direction.  In 2009, Konami's ended its contract with Upper Deck and took over all distribution.
